Eduard’s journey is one built on perseverance, vision, and an unwavering belief in creating opportunities for others. 


He began his academic journey as a maintenance assistant scholar at De La Salle Lipa, where he earned his degree in Accountancy and successfully passed the CPA board exam in 2015.


Even then, his leadership was evident, as he served as Assistant Vice President for Internal Affairs of the Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants. From high school honors at Bayorbor National High School to his early professional years, Eduard’s path reflects both grit and determination.

With nearly a decade of experience as a CPA–CMA, Eduard has built deep expertise in audit and accounting. His career began in one of the Philippines’ largest auditing firms, where his hard work quickly earned him a promotion to Senior Audit Associate.


His portfolio grew to include financial audits, due diligence, and advisory work for hotels, real estate, financial institutions, and multinational companies—spanning standards from PFRS to IFRS and US GAAP. 

With nearly a decade of experience as a CPA–CMA, Eduard has built deep expertise in audit and accounting. His career began in one of the Philippines’ largest auditing firms, where his hard work quickly earned him a promotion to Senior Audit Associate.

Eduard's pursuit of global experience led him to an outsourcing firm in Makati, supporting a U.S.-based audit practice. There, he led the California Region team and earned the “Caught in the Act Award” for excellence in client service. 


Today, Eduard wears many hats: Senior Partner at Garachico Alday & Co., and Founder & CEO of Remotely Philippines—an outsourcing firm that empowers businesses worldwide through accounting, audit, and advisory services. Beyond titles, Eduard is driven by a vision: to bridge global opportunities for Filipino talent, while building a company rooted in excellence, integrity, and purpose. 


He remains an active member of professional organizations, including PICPA, ICMA, and NIAT, continuously learning and giving back to the profession that shaped him. For Eduard, success is not just about numbers - it’s about people, possibilities, and creating impact that lasts. 

Ednalyn Atienza-Ortega, CPA

Corporate Treasurer/Senior Director for Operations

Ednalyn’s story is one of excellence, perseverance, and purpose. She graduated with Academic Distinction in Accountancy from De La Salle Lipa and became a Certified Public Accountant in 2015.


Even at the start of her career, Edna embraced challenges with determination, joining one of the world’s biggest professional services firms. There, she specialized in tax and accounting services—handling compliance, advisory, due diligence, and outsourcing projects across industries from manufacturing to BPO. 

 

After more than two years in the Big 4, she transitioned into industry as an Accounting Supervisor for one of the Philippines’ top corrugated box producers.


In that role, she sharpened her skills in process improvement, pricing strategies, financial reporting, and operational efficiency—always with an eye on driving business growth and sustainable cash flow. 

 

But Edna’s vision extended beyond corporate walls. She saw the potential of outsourcing not just as a service model, but as a way to transform lives.


Her passion lies in creating opportunities for Filipinos to achieve both professional success and work-life balance, while delivering world-class services to global clients. 

 

Today, Ednalyn is Senior Partner at Garachico Alday & Co. and Senior Director for Operations at Remotely Philippines. She leads with a steady hand and a clear vision—overseeing transaction advisory, accounting, and CFO support services, while mentoring teams to deliver excellence in bookkeeping, financial planning, forecasting, and reporting.

Atty. Ian Jerrick B. Inandan, JD, CPA

Senior Director of Legal and Business Development

Atty. Ian Jerrick B. Inandan is an experienced CPA lawyer with a strong background in corporate law, tax advisory, and tax litigation. He has gained extensive experience from his partnership roles in several accounting and law firms, including Garachico Alday & Co. and Inandan De Ramos Inandan and Associates Law Offices.


Atty. Inandan has displayed exceptional expertise in corporate compliance and reorganization, tax planning, corporate risk management, and transactional law.


Throughout his distinguished legal career, Atty. Inandan has actively represented clients in complex tax litigation cases before the Court of Tax Appeals (CTA) and has pursued tax advocacy cases with the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR).


He has successfully negotiated the cancellation of tax assessments, secured substantial tax refunds, and resolved high-value disputes, consistently achieving the best outcomes for his clients.

 Mr. Ortega has previously worked as an Associate Auditor in one of the biggest auditing firms in the Philippines. After working for 1 and half year in the firm, he was promoted as Senior Audit Associate. He has extensive audit experiences in financial audits and due diligence of hotels, real estates, malls, financial institutions, not-for-profit organizations and holding companies. He has experience in audit of both local and international companies with knowledge in PAS, PFRS, GAAS, PAAS, IFRS and US GAAP.

His legal journey began at Salvador Llanillo and Mijares (formerly Salvador Llanillo and Bernardo), a Makati-based corporate and tax law firm, where he gained nearly four years of extensive experience. During this time, he effectively handled corporate restructuring and reorganization, estate planning and settlement, as well as litigation in civil and tax cases before the regular courts, the Court of Tax Appeals (CTA), the Court of Appeals, and the Supreme Court.


Atty. Inandan's accomplishments include facilitating the cancellation of significant tax assessments, securing multimillion-peso tax refunds, and resolving high-value disputes with the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR). Before beginning his legal practice, Atty. Inandan developed his financial acumen as an auditor with SGV & Co., where he gained a deep understanding of financial systems and regulatory compliance. 


This unique combination of skills as both a CPA and a lawyer allows him to provide comprehensive legal and business solutions, particularly in tax and corporate restructuring matters. Atty. Inandan’s expertise also includes estate planning and settlement, where he has assisted prominent families in structuring their personal and real property assets for maximum efficiency and compliance.


Collaborating with foreign wealth planning specialists, he has offered strategic advice on estate and corporate structures with cross-border implications. In his current role as Senior Director for Legal and Business Development at Remotely Philippines, Atty. Inandan leverages his knowledge of legal strategy and corporate governance to drive business growth and innovation, ensuring that the organization remains a leader in its industry.

Jennifer B. Atienza, MBA, CHRA

Senior Director of Human Resource

Ms. Jennifer Buenviaje Atienza is an HR professional, researcher, and educator, highlighting her experience in people management, organizational development, and management education.


Currently, she leads and supports HR strategy to align with the overall business strategy of Remotely Philippines. She explores tailor-fit HR system design and capability-building initiatives to sustain remote and flexible work arrangements.


With a balance between HR theories and practice, her HR journey spans academe, research, private sector consultancy, and public service.


Prior to joining Remotely Philippines, Jenn built an extensive career in a state university, where she served as Assistant Professor, Graduate School Lecturer, Department Chairperson for the Business Administration program, ETEEAP Adviser, Quality Assurance Coordinator, and Education Program Specialist.


These administrative roles strengthened her expertise in leadership, quality assurance, workforce, and organizational development, applying evidence-based HR decision-making.

Jenn has likewise rendered HR consultancy services to both large private corporations and government entities across the region, supporting initiatives in workforce assessment, policy development, organizational diagnostics, team effectiveness, and leadership development. She is an employee champion as she advocates establishment of work environments where everyone can thrive, perform excellently and find meaning in their work.


Beyond academe and consulting, Jenn’s research engagements have significantly strengthened her HR expertise, enabling her to contribute to applied studies on HR audits, quality of work life, labor market assessment, and workforce systems improvement among private and government institutions. As of now, she has already published three (3) research papers in Scopus-indexed journals and has presented several HR-focused studies in regional and national research forums.


Supporting personal and professional development, Jenn is engaged in a post-graduate degree program as she is currently a candidate for Doctor of Philosophy in People Management. She has completed her dissertation writing, and works with the publication of her paper prior to graduation. Her research focuses on people management practices among micro and small enterprises, offering strategic HR framework and insights for organizations operating with lean and evolving structures.


With all that, here at Remotely Philippines, Jenn brings together academic rigor, research-driven insight, and hands-on HR consultancy experiences, to create better environment that people-centered and sustainable workplaces where both individuals and organizations learn and grow.

A Computer Engineering-trained professional, Vlad has developed his career steeped in the IT infrastructure and systems leadership space. With well over a decade of experience, he is an expert in the design, security, and management of enterprise-level technology environments.


As an Associate Director of IT, he utilizes his engineering expertise to provide mature, scalable, and user-centric solutions from server management and network architecture to cybersecurity and support operations.


His strategy is strategic yet practical, making sure technology not just meets business requirements but also allows teams to operate with confidence and efficiency.

Cherry Mae Atienza

Senior Associate for Finance and Admin

Cherry is an experienced accounting professional with over a decade of experience spanning taxation, hospitality, and corporate finance. She began her career as a Junior Accountant in a local tax and accounting firm, where she built a strong foundation in bookkeeping, tax compliance, and financial reporting.


She later advanced into the hospitality industry, serving as an Accounting Associate before moving into Internal Audit Compliance, where she rose from Audit Staff to Audit Supervisor. Over her 5 years in this sector, she sharpened her expertise in compliance audits, risk assessment, operational controls, and process improvement.


Currently, Cherry is a Senior Accounting Associate at Remotely Philippines, where she oversees end-to-end accounting processes, payroll, and financial reporting. In addition to her finance responsibilities, she also contributes to recruitment and employee relations—showcasing her adaptability and commitment to organizational efficiency.



Through her dual expertise in finance and HR, Cherry continues to leverage her skills not only to meet financial requirements but also to drive operational effectiveness and long-term business success.

Marvin Lester Negosa, CSSWB

Senior Associate for Marketing

Marvin is a testament to perseverance and self-confidence. Despite living with a physical disability, he never allowed it to hinder his pursuit of personal and professional growth. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Multimedia Studies from the University of the Philippines Open University, where he developed both technical and creative skills. 

He began his career as a freelancer, honing his expertise in graphic design, content writing, digital marketing, and sales through his own online shop. These experiences gave him a strong foundation in marketing and sales, as well as an entrepreneurial mindset that continues to shape his career.


Marvin is relentless in his drive to improve, always seeking opportunities to learn, upskill, and explore the latest trends in business and technology. His curiosity and commitment to growth make him a dynamic professional who embraces change rather than resists it.


Today, as Senior Associate for Marketing at Remotely Philippines, he leads the company’s sales and marketing campaigns, leveraging the expertise and determination he has developed over the years.
